ASSESSMENT

 

 

 

We consider accurate and focused assessment as the cornerstone of high quality teaching, as it allows the work to be planned and taught accurately as well as meeting the needs of the requirements of the children and ensuring high levels of expectation and support. The staff seek to promote achievement and progress in all areas of the curriculum for all students throughout their school lives.

 

Assessments are conducted through Multidimensional methods– diagnostic, formative, summative, activity based, project based, quizzes, viva, practical, research based, work habits, and many

PRE KG

 

  • The child’s daily progress is informally assessed through ongoing observation and active participation in classroom activities.
  • Each child is assessed term-wise in the journal across seven key learning areas:
    Communication and Language, PSED (Personal, Social & Emotional Development), Physical Development, Literacy, Numeracy, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.

 

KG I to Grade II

 

  • Child's day to day performance is monitored and assessed informally.

  • The monthly e-report card gives a detailed assessment of the child's progress in each subject, citizenship and work habits.

  • The term end e- report card reflects the benchmarks achieved by the child in each skill in a subject. It also shows the child's progress in co- curricular activities.
